Tibetan art arrives in Spain 

Visitors to the opening ceremony of the 2010 China Tibet Culture Week in Madrid, Spain, stop at the display of “Tangka” (paintings on silk and cloth). The event, co-organized by the State Council Information Office of China, government of the Tibet autonomous region, and the Chinese embassy in Spain, opened in Madrid on Monday. During this week, traditional and modern Tibet art and life of people in Tibet will be fully displayed in forms of songs, dances and workshops by Tibetan scholars and physicians, as well as exhibitions of photos and Tangka.
