New BMW 3 Series GT
Combining the dynamics, driving pleasure and comfort of a BMW sedan with the space of an SUV, the all-new 3 Series GT went on sale in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province on June 25. The overall flow design makes the large vehicle feel compact and elegant, said the carmaker. Seating 59 mm higher than a normal 3 Series sedan and frameless windows give a broad view out. The model comes in two variants - the 320i GT and 328i GT - equipped with 2.0 liter four-cylinder and 3.0 liter six-cylinder petrol engines respectively. Both offer an eight-speed automatic manual transmission and automatic start and stop function.
For the first time, BMW uses an active rear spoiler on one of its models. It automatically rises when speeds reach 110 km/h and close when it drops to 70km/h. The 4,824-mm body length and 2,920 wheelbase provides more spacious legroom for back-seat passengers than a 3 Series normal wheelbase sedan.
In addition, "My BMW Remote" can connect the car with your smart phone.
It is BMW's first app that can be applied to an Android system phone, helping a driver to quickly locate the position of the car in a large parking lot.
The model is priced between 445,000 yuan and 673,000 yuan.
