Senior officers
More than 36,000 senior military officers above regimental level in the People's Liberation Army have rejoined the ranks of soldiers at company levels in a campaign to better connect with the grassroots through short stays with soldiers. The move has also helped senior officers make decisions in the interests of soldiers, Xinhua News Agency quoted the General Political Department of the PLA as saying.
