Video: The Color Run, a 5 km, untimed race in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer, was held at the Beijing International Garden Expo on Saturday. It was the first time the Color Run had come to China. Even though the temperature reached nearly 40 C outside, the heat wave did not stop thousands of runners taking part.

Bilingual: Norwegian PM Jens Stoltenberg spent an afternoon working incognito as a taxi driver in Oslo, he has revealed. Stoltenberg said he wanted to hear from "real" Norwegian voters and that taxis are one of the few places where people share their true views, the BBC reported.

Buzzword: E-cquaintance refers to a person known to another through online communication only (such as e-mail, instant messenger or social networking websites). The term is a blend of electronic and acquaintance, just like e-mail and e-commerce, where acquaintance means someone you know slightly, but not well.
