52,000 people
A magnitude-5.1 earthquake that jolted the border of Yunnan and Sichuan provinces on Wednesday morning has affected more than 52,000 residents in Yunnan, local authorities said on Thursday. Of the affected, 9,220 have been relocated, according to the Yunnan provincial civil affairs department.
