Who says fine jewelry is limited to gold and silver? They can be very colorful like flowers. Some fine jewelry makers have created alluring pieces out of precious stones.
Royal flower
Chaumet launched its Hortensia fine jewelry collection in October, featuring this rosy gold brooch. The inspiration comes from hortensias, the favorite flower of Empress Josephine, the first wife of Napoleon. This piece and this collection have a rich French royal taste, and are a tribute to their history, as Chaumet was Napoleon's official jeweler.
Shine with leather
Prada, specialists in leather products, are launching a series of modern fine jewelry that mixes and matches its iconic leathers. These diamond-decorated bracelets shine with orange, jade green and spearmint leather belts.
Blossom of an orchid
Tiffany orchid brooches are masterpieces. A real orchid is dipped in wax before it is enameled, fired and bejeweled. That is why these diamonds shine on these vivid, lively orchids, which seem to be blooming.
