Bakers celebrate Roald Dahl in cake creations

To celebrate Roald Dahl day on 13 Sept and the 50th anniversary of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory more than 50 of Ireland's best cake artists have joined together to bring Roald Dahl's world alive with an exhibition of rather remarkable cakes.

These baking and confectionary wizards have recreated some of Roald Dahl and Sir Quentin Blake's best loved characters all in the delicious medium of cake and sugar.

The amazing creations include the B.F.G., Augustus Gloop from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and a 6 foot tall cake version of Willy Wonka.
