Dinner guests at the Michelin-starred Mandarin Grill + Bar in Hong Kong may find themselves facing an army this week as dessert arrives. Not to worry, these warriors are sweethearts - or at least sweet.
They're creations of chef Uwe Opocensky as part of a set menu he's crafted for the ongoing Art Basel. The special sets will be offered through March 22.Meanwhile, the warriors have inspired another chef with a chocolate touch: Chinese chef Yang Yong wowed the crowd with a similar creation at the second anniversary celebration of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles last week.
