Crowne Plaza Beijing Sun Palace is celebrating Oktoberfest with German music, beer drinking competition and chicken dance from Sept 4 to 13, 2015.
Joerg and his band the "Mϋnchner Musikanten" will be rocking the nights with lively music. The seven band members all come from Bavaria, Germany, where the festival originated. The band has been performing in China since 1995 and has brought the Oktoberfest songs to more than 30 Chinese cities.
The first Oktoberfest was recognized in 1810 to celebrate the October 12th marriage of Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen. In the following years, the celebrations were gradually moved up to September for better weather conditions.
Tickets for the Oktoberfest at the Crowne Plaza Beijing Sun Palace are available for booking on Sept 4, 12 and 13. Call 010-6452-1616 or 13911296427 for details.
