"Although some may get a little too passionate during the show and get too close, I can always handle it quite well. They are just showing their appreciation. It is my job, so I should show some professionalism," she says.
What made Lin even more popular are the frequent appearances on TV, from reality matchmaking shows, fashion shows to quiz shows.
The matchmaking show aired on Shanghai's Dragon TV called One out of 100 was the one that catapulted her to fame, winning her more than 110,000 followers on Sina Weibo.
But this is not going to be her long-term career, she says, because there will be younger models coming up every year.
"The good thing is I have a so-called baby face. People can hardly tell my age and it's a natural advantage.
"But when I have made enough money, I will definitely start my own business," she says.
