While some who sat the college entrance exam are over the moon at passing, others are filled with despair, some even choosing to commit suicide. What is your opinion of the exam system? China Daily's mobile news readers share their views:

I cried a lot after failing the college entrance when I was a 12th-grade student two years ago. But I never gave up and through my efforts I have just received a scholarship for 10-month's study in the United States, courtesy of the China Scholarship Council. The college entrance exam is just one of the many turning points in the long road of life. Remember whatever happens, there will always be other opportunities waiting for you as long as you have faith in yourself. What matters is how much you are willing to fight for your future.

In fact, I don't think it is necessary to attach too much importance to the college entrance exam. There are many roads to choose from in life, and the exam is just one of them. My greatest regret is that I gave up most of my hobbies in order to study for the college entrance exam. Therefore, for those high school students who have not attended the exam, my suggestion is to hold on to your hobbies and read a wide variety of books, which will stop you from feeling lost and puzzled in life.

The national college entrance exam is a major point in one's life, but not the decisive one. No one should give up just because they did not get a good enough score in the exam. Instead, they should reward themselves with some time for relaxation and feel happy as they have made great efforts studying for the exam. In my opinion, it is more important to figure out what one wants to do in life and fight for that life. Why do we always compare ourselves with others and care so much about what others think of us?
