A giant 100kg panda climbed up a spruce tree in Zhouzhi county, Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, Oct 14, 2013. The panda sat on a branch around 20 meters from the ground, attracting a crowd of onlookers. A staff member from the local nature reserve center said: "The giant panda is about 10 years old and is likely sick or being chased by a predator. And the panda is good at climbing, no need to worry if it will fall off the tree. We suggest that people do not stand around and let the panda free to leave as the panda is afraid of the crowd."
