BEIJING - Chinese Football Association released a statement on its official website Friday that they are seeking for a new manager to replace interim coach Fu Bo for Chinese Men's National Soccer Team.
According to the statement, the new manager will be responsible for Chinese soccer team's attempt for the 2018 World Cup final, therefore the eventual new manager will probably receive a long-term contract. Candidates interested in the job can contact Chinese Football Association from Nov 22 to Dec 10.
The new manager is supposed to possess soccer coach qualification at professional level, and the rich experience both as a professional soccer player and coach is required. Candidates should have a clear plan for the team's development and is familiar with essential features of recent development of world soccer, current situation of Asian and Chinese soccer.
Eight games in total without defeat, Fu Bo has fulfilled his responsibilities as interim manager of Chinese soccer team, and he admitted in his Sina Weibo (Twitter-like microblog) he could have done better in the 2015 Asian Cup qualifiers and he will accept whatever result peacefully.
