An annual community running event called "Puma Jinqiao 8K" will be held in Jinqiao Biyun in Shanghai's Pudong New Area on April 13 for both locals and expats.
Each year, around 5,000 people, nearly half of whom were expats, have participated in the event over the past 12 years.
The event, hosted by the Jinqiao district government, aims to build an outdoor fitness platform for corporate employees and community residents to promote running and a healthy lifestyle.
Registration has started at select Puma stores, Element Fresh restaurants and the Jinqiao MegaFit Sports Club.
The registration fee is 150 yuan ($24) per person.
