China, Japan to hold strategic dialogue

BEIJING- China and Japan will hold their 12th strategic dialogue later this week, the Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday.

Vice-Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun and his Japanese counterpart Sasae Kenichiro will lead delegations for the dialogue slated for December 2 in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said at a press briefing.

The two sides will exchange views on bilateral ties and international and regional issues of common concern, Hong said.
