BEIJING - China and the United States will hold their annual meeting to discuss business ties and trade issues next week, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said Friday.
Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang, US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and Trade Representative Michael Froman will co-chair the meeting, Hong told a regular briefing.
The 24th Session of China-US Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT) was slated for December 19-20 in Beijing.
The JCCT was launched in 1983 as a platform for the two countries to promote trade and address issues of mutual concern.
