Construction of the Shanghai Disneyland is proceeding well, and its ticket prices will be set at an affordable level for domestic tourists, a Shanghai official said.
Yang Jinsong, director of the Shanghai Tourism Administration, told official Eastday.com that the tourism bureau has discussed future operations, ticket price and other issues with related parties.
Although ticket prices have not yet been finalized, Yang said they would be set in accordance with economic and consumption conditions.
"The goal is to both maintain the sustainable development of Disney, and to control the ticket price within affordable levels for tourists, especially Chinese tourists," said Yang.
