Apple's iPhone, which has worked its magic all over the Chinese market, sadly failed to work its magic on one girl.
A Sina Weibo post on Nov 7,2014 announced that a man had laid 99 iPhone 6's in a heart formation to demonstrate his love for a girl but was refused, in South China's Guangzhou city.
Other Weibo users said the man is a programmer in an online game company, and spent two years of his savings to buy the smartphones.
The iPhone 6 is available in 16, 64, and 128 GB capacities, respectively, with retail price of $649, $749 and $849, so the 99 devices would have cost at least $64,250 (389,700 yuan).
