You Zhonghui, a veteran calligrapher from Hubei province, is holding his first solo show at National Art Museum of China.

On display are more than 100 calligraphic works that the 78-year-old has created over the past six decades.

The artist has found his own style in a decades-long pursuit, borrowing elements from contemporary art.
