Wang Guangyi, one of the most influential contemporary Chinese artists, is holding a retrospective solo show.

On view are about 50 works the internationally acclaimed conceptual artist has created since the early 1980s. Wang is labeled by some Western media as a Chinese equivalent of American pop art giant Andy Warhol for his use of both revolutionary and pop culture icons and symbols in his paintings and installations.
