CCTV has produced a large-scale program titled Ethnic and Folk Song and Dance Gala, to be aired from Nov 4-8.

The program will be divided into five parts, featuring the areas of Yellow River, Yangtze River, Beijing, frontiers and coasts.

With the support of Chinese Musicians' Association, Chinese Dancers' Association and Chinese Folk Artists' Association, CCTV has selected some of the most authentic singers and dancers of various traditions from all over China to perform at the gala.
