The Stuttgart Ballet from Germany will stage the classical La Traviata in Beijing. The artistic director Reid Anderson was awarded the German Dance Prize 2006. The ballet version of Verdi's opera La Traviata is adapted by American choreographer John Neumeier to the music of Frederic Chopin.

The ballet drama delicately portrays the psychological changes of the characters with a smartly designed plot.
