Forming formlessness

Artist Zhan Wang explores the relationship between form and formlessness in his new exhibition in Long March Space. Presented in sculpture, printmaking, video and installation, Zhan re-examines the distance, perspective and proportion of actual existence in relation to surrounding space. His work Concealed Rock (pictured below) is a transparent resin cube containing an "invisible" artificial rock. The surface of the rock is revealed only when placed under bright lights.

10 am-6 pm, until Dec 2. Long March Space, 798 Art Zone, 4 Jiuxianqiao Road, Chaoyang district, Beijing. 010-5978-9768.
