Uta, winner of singing competition Rock The Web season one, sang two songs to raise money for orphans and kids from poor families at the 11th Annual Charity Gala Dinner of the EU-China Managers Association in Beijing on Nov 22.
"Love is powerful," said Uta, who returned from Hollywood recently. "We should help those with difficulties with love and gratitude. We love others, and they will love us. When everyone lives with this attitude, the world will become better." She added she will pay more attention to charity work.
Uta has just finished recording of her first international single "Original Painting" in the United States. Avril Lavigne's production team The Matrix produced the song, and famous photographer Christopher Doyle made the music video. After lessons from Michael Jackson's tutor Seth Riggs, Uta has made great progress in her singing technique.
