On the women side, Lung'aho, who has successfully led Kenya prisons to win five Africa club Championships, has opted to drop veteran receiver Judith Tarus for the youthful Agripina Kundu and Elizabeth Nafula in the Libero position.
Tarus has played second fiddle to Nafula at the club level from late last year when she was axed from Prisons team to the FIVB World Club Championship held in Doha, Qatar.
Save for a few nagging injuries, the women team will have little change.
Captain Bracksedes Agala and veteran Diana Khisa have little knee bruises, which they picked during the local league matches.
It is a concern that the coach will overlook as he seeks to build a winning team for the assignment.
Setter Jane Wacu, who was suspended together with Mildred Odwako are back after serving their bans. There is also Janet Wanja, Mercy Moim, Evelyn, Makuto, Asha Makuto, Monica Biama, Violet Makuto and Loice Chelegat.
The World Cup will feature 24 teams. One place was allocated to the hosts, Poland and Italy, but no automatic place is given to the defending champions, Brazil (men) and Italy (women).
The remaining 23 places will be determined by a qualification process, in which entrants from among the other teams from the five FIVB confederations will compete.
For Africa, five teams have got a bye to the final round qualification. They are Egypt, Cameroon, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.
For the women team, hosts Italy are granted automatic qualification. Continental governing bodies were allocated the remaining 23 spots.
Africa was granted two, Asia four, North America six, South America two, and Europe 10 places.
