Hosszu, Le Clos lead FINA short course World Cup in Beijing

BEIJING - Hungary's world champion Katinka Hosszu and South Africa's Olympic champion Chad Le Clos will be the top stars at the the FINA short course World Cup in Beijing on Nov 13-14.
Hosszu, double individual medley winner at the world championships in Barcelona in August, will compete in 10 events here while Clos will race 100m freestyle at Beijing.
"I will take part in 10 events," said Hosszu, who is considered the biggest rival for Chinese Olympic champion Ye Shiwen. "I like the feeling of competing."
"I hope I can improve my time in the 100m individual medley," she added.

Clos will participate in six to seven events.
"I have four events in the first day," he said. "I hope I can make some breakthrough in the 100m individual medley and freestyle."
About 30 Chinese swimmers will take part in the competition, and most of them competed in the Barcelona worlds.
London Olympic champion Sun Yang was suspended from all the competition after he was found driving without a license. Ye Shiwen will also miss the event due to illness.
