The China Basketball Association (CBA)'s most high-profile international player will be benched for at least six weeks, and he recommended former 76er Darius Morris as his substitute.
Five players of Zhejiang Guangsha scored double digit points and sent Beijing Ducks to their first loss after six rounds of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league with a 97-94 home victory on Sunday.
Zhejiang's Jonathan Gibson scored 26 points, Lin Zhijie had 18 points and 9 rebounds and Johan Petro contributed 13 points and 10 boards. Sun Henan and Wang Zheng scored 19 and 10 points respectively.
Beijing's Li Gen led the team with 30 points, Stephon Marbury finished with 20 points, 7 boards and 6 assists, Randolph Morris scored 26 points and Sun Yue had 9 points and 6 rebounds. However, Beijing's overall 22 turnovers in the game hindered them from six-straight wins.
