Movie fans line-up for an autograph from director Lu Chuan (right) at the closing screening of Panorama China at Houston's International Film Festival on April 17. Chronicles of Ghostly Tribe, a movie directed by Lu, was the only commercial film featured at the Panorama China, where 20 films, most of them independent, were showcased. Five of the Chinese films won platinum awards and 14 won golden awards.
