The real Titanic

Titanic 3-D opened in Beijing on Tuesday, earning $11.6 million in its first day alone. That's the second highest opening day for any film in China. Everyone knows the James Cameron classic is based on the true story of a luxury cruise liner that crashed into an iceberg and sunk. Or at least I thought everyone knew it was true.

Fugitive on Facebook

Social networking sites allow us to do some pretty idiotic things. In the US this week, a criminal on the run has turned to Facebook to update the status of his getaway. Travis Nicolaysen's friends and family have his full support, posting messages of encouragement and warnings about where police are looking. There are so many stupid criminals out there these days.

7-year-old lights fires

A 7-year-old boy from the state of Alaska has been identified by police as being the person responsible for starting a series of fires. Police say the 7-year-old found a lighter and became an arsonist over night, causing more than $1,000 in damages. Did I mention he is 7 years old? Kids may look innocent, but they can do some serious damage.

Rock out with Rakhee

The Week's expert on hot topics in Hollywood, Rakhee Morzaria, talks about rumors of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian being boyfriend and girlfriend and predicts the glamour couple's next big move. Plus, is Katy Perry really complaining about being famous? Boohoo!

This wacky world!

A British woman paid $10,000 for plastic surgery to make her butt look like Pippa Middleton's. That's a "firm" investment.

A new study shows that people who spend money on travel and eating good food are cooler than people who spend money on material items. In my opinion, the coolest is if you spend money on both.

A woman in the US was arrested after she broke into another woman's house, entered the baby's nursery and began breastfeeding the homeowner's baby. If she wants to stay out of trouble, she better start "sucking up" to police.

CBA star Stephon Marbury is reportedly getting a bronze statue in China. The guy helps win one championship here and he gets to a memorial? That statue came way too easily.
