BEIJING - A 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit the sea area off the coast of Ecuador at 7:58 a.m. Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the initial measurement of the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 0.46 degrees north latitude and 79.73 degrees west longitude.
