Deals worth 38.7 billion yuan, covering 84 cultural projects, were signed at the Gansu Cultural Industry Investment Promotion Fair in Shenzhen on the opening day of the 11th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair.

Lian Ji, director of the Propaganda Department of Gansu, attended the signing ceremony on Thursday and spoke of the importance and advantages to Gansu in China's "One Belt, One Road".

Gansu will spare no effort in forging a golden passageway connecting east and west, a regional center of commerce and trade and a demonstration base of industry cooperation, as well as a bridge cultural and education exchanges, Lian said.
