VW unveils CrossBlue Concept SUV

Volkswagen has officially unveiled its new six-seat CrossBlue SUV Concept at the 2013 North American International Auto Show.
When going into mass production, the CrossBlue will be sold as a spacious seven-seat crossover with a length of 4,986 mm, a width of 2014 mm and a height of 1732 mm, slotting in above the Tiguan and below the premium Touareg.
The CrossBlue features a highly innovative plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines a TDI Clean Diesel engine with two electric motors, a DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission, and an electric all-wheel-drive system. It takes just 7.2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed can reach up to 204 km/h.
