A documentary recording the development of China's State-owned enterprises comprehensively for the first time will be broadcast starting from Monday evening on China Central Television's second channel, the television station said on Jan 21.

The six-episode series records the growth of China's State-owned enterprises against the background of the Chinese and global economies.

The series will also reveal major events and figures related to the reform and development of the companies, said Jiang Shiming, producer of the documentary.
