China Resource Vanguard Co Ltd said its 2012 sales revenue reached 94.1 billion yuan ($15.13 billion), and that it opened 782 new stores last year despite the country’s sluggish retail environment.
The 782 new stores include 82 hypermarkets, four Ole shops, two BLT outlets and 128 Pacific Coffee shops.
CRV said earlier that it will further expand its high-end supermarkets. It plans to open 50 Ole stores and 30 BLT shops by the end of 2016.
The Hong Kong-based retail giant said it plans to open 800 stores this year, including nearly 80 hypermarkets.
