SANYA -- A chartered tourist flight between the city of Sanya in south China's Hainan province and the Republic of Korea (ROK)'s capital of Seoul reopened on Thursday, local sources said.
The reopened route, operated by low-cost ROK carrier T'way Air, has two regular flights that take place each Wednesday and Saturday, according to the Sanya Phoenix International Airport.
The number of flights on those days will be increased to four from July 2013 to March 2014 to accommodate surging demand.
The ROK is the second-largest source of tourists for Sanya following Russia.
