A-share's market value down 1.17t yuan in March

The total market capitalization of China's A-share market dropped to 23.14 trillion yuan ($3.72 trillion), down 1.17 trillion yuan compared with the end of February, the China Securities Journal reported on Monday.
The Shanghai Composite index dropped 5.45 percent last month, while the CSI 300 index decreased 6.67 percent, said the report.
In addition, the index for small and medium-sized shares fell 0.9 percent, and the Growth Enterprise Market climbed 0.62 percent in the same period.
The PE ratio of the CSI 300 and Shanghai A-share market fell to 10.51 times and 11.37 times in March, respectively.
