Airline fuel surcharge drops

A number of Chinese airlines will reduce the fuel surcharge on domestic flights from May 5, the China Economic Net reported on Thursday.
The extra charge for domestic routes longer than 800 kilometers will decrease from 130 yuan ($21) to 110 yuan per person, and for routes less than 800 kilometers it will drop to 60 yuan per passenger, the report said.
