China Galaxy Securities, which will start its global road show on Monday, confirmed a list of six cornerstone investors over the weekend.
The six investors include AIA, Malaysia government-owned investment holding arm Khazanah Nasional Berhad, China Life Insurance Company Limited, China General Technology (Group) Holdings Co Ltd, China Cinda Asset Management Co Ltd and Sino Life Co Ltd.
International investors subscribed a surprisingly high 53.6 percent of the offerings. It is expected that the price will be finalized after the 10-day road show.
China Galaxy Securities went through a hearing at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited in April. It is one of the most important recent initial public offerings on the H-shares market.
There were previous concerns that a decline in sales of China Galaxy Securities in 2012 and its focus on the Chinese mainland market would make it difficult to attract international investors.
