HANOI - Zhejiang Export Fair will be held in Vietnam's southern Ho Chi Minh city from May 16 to 18, as one of the linkage to boost investment and trade between Vietnam and China's Zhejiang province.
Some 150 enterprises are expected to take part in the event with nearly 200 booths to display machinery-electronics products, building-decoration material, textile fabric and household items.
In 2012, trade turnover between Vietnam and Zhejiang reached $3.45 billion. Zhejiang exports to Vietnam mainly steel, pharmaceutical as well as textile and garment products, while the province imports crude oil, natural rubber and plastic raw materials.
The event is co-hosted by Department of Commerce of Zhejiang province and Vietnam International Trade Fair and Advertising Company under the Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade.
