Chinese shares close lower Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese shares continued to close lower Tuesday after the drop on the previous trading day.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index declined 1.11 percent, or 24.91 points, to end at 2,217.01. The Shenzhen Component Index fell 2.28 percent, or 205.20 points, to 8,809.09.
