BEIJING - A fine arts center sponsored by the China National Academy of Painting, or CNAP, will be established on May 25 to promote the art industry, the academy said Wednesday.

Co-sponsored by the China International Exhibition Center and a company based in Hong Kong, the 12,500-square meter center includes 52 studios, two exhibition halls and other support facilities.

The center integrates various functions including artistic creation, exchanges, exhibitions and art circulation and marketing, the CNAP said, adding that the center will also provide services and consulting to the art industry.
