H1 reports show various fortunes

Of the 913 A-share listed companies which have posted half-year financial reports by May 20, 129 said they forecast a loss in the first half of 2013.
The findings were published by Wind, a Shanghai-based financial information provider.
Another 98 listed companies said they forecast a year-on-year decrease in net profit.
Most of the companies reporting a fall in profit were in chemicals, machinery, and equipment manufacturing.
Some 111 companies said they forecast year-on-year increase in net profit in H1. Of these, 39 said the increase will be more than 50 percent.
