China Mengniu Dairy, the country's largest dairy producer, will introduce a new brand of fresh milk imported from Denmark.
The company, which is based in Hohhot, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, said that the brand will be supplied by Danish producer Arla, which has a strategic share holding in Mengniu.
The new product, marketed under the brand name of Arla Organic Whole Milk, will be launched in Shanghai, Beijing and other 30 cities in August.
An ARLA representative said that the "organic whole milk" will be available in 250 ml and one-liter packs.
