China Cargo Airlines officially joins SkyTeam Cargo

MUNICH -- China Cargo Airlines joins SkyTeam Cargo officially on Wednesday at the Munich Trade Fair Center, becoming the 11th member of the world's only air cargo alliance.
"Joining Skyteam Cargo will be conducive for CCA, a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, to raise the scale economy benefits, to expand its network and to strengthen its international competitiveness," said China Eastern Airlines' Chief Economist Shan Chuanbo.
On the other hand, CCA will inspire the vitality in the alliance, strengthen the overall cargo transportation capacity, improve the alliance network and raise the international competitiveness, according to Shan on the mutual signing ceremony.
Established in 1998, CCA headquartered in Shanghai. It now operates 14 exclusive freight routes and also runs cargo service of passenger aircrafts operated by China Eastern Airlines, providing worldwide customers with services among over 200 destinations.
