Insurers' income rise keeps momentum

The combined premium income of China's insurers in the first five months of 2013 reached $125.99 billion, a 9.4% year-on-year increase, according to the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
Combined asset insurance premium income was 265.7 billion yuan, a 16.84 percent year-on-year increase and income form life insurance premium from Jan 1 to May 31 reached 508.7 billion yuan, a 5.88 percent year-on-year growth.
The combined premium income of insurers in May was 127.7 billion yuan, a 10.4 percent year-on-year increase.
