HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks rose 482.83 points, or 2.43 percent, to close at 20,338.55 points on Wednesday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 19,913.98 and 20,354.18. Turnover totaled HK$78.84 billion (about $10.16 billion). ($1 = HK$7.761)
