The fifth round of the Sino-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue will kick off in Washington on July 10th and 11th. Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang and State Councillor Yang Jiechi will be co-chairing the dialogue with US State Secretary John Kerry and Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew.
Both countries will discuss the implementation of agreements that were made by the recent summit between Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Barack Obama.
The two sides will also share their views on expanding cooperation in various fields and strengthening coordination on international and regional issues. The Strategic and Economic Dialogue was set up in 2009 and is the highest-level bilateral forum between the two countries.
