Liaoning exports show healthy rise

Exports from Liaoning province amounted to $41.25 billion in the first eight months of 2013, up 7.2 percent year-on-year, according to Shenyang Customs.
Exports hit $5.87 billion in August, an increase of 17.7 percent.
The province's total import and export trade hit $73.04 billion in the first eight months, up 4.4 percent year-on-year. Imports reached $31.79 billion, an increase of 1 percent on last year.
Twelve of the 14 cities in the province maintained export growth. Dalian ranked first with $23.7 billion export, up 2 percent. Shenyang exported $4.14 billion with an annual growth of 5.1 percent. Fuxin, Jinzhou and Fushun were the top three in export growth.
