Police in Yulin city, Shaanxi province in Northwest China, seized a robbery suspect who often traveled by air, Xi’an Evening News reported on Saturday.

The suspect, surnamed Le, 29, is a resident of Zhaojue county, Southwest China’s Sichuan province. He started his spree in 2005 and was caught in 2008 by police in Tongchuan, Shaanxi province, where he also took drugs.

At the Tongchuan police drug-rehabilitation center, Le learned that Yulin was a rich place with rapid economic development and went there in July 2012. He broke in to homes in the city to steal money and other property, racking up more than 50 break-ins in 5 months.

Yulin police caught Le at the end of 2012 and learned that he traveled by air from Shaanxi to Liaoning province in Northeast China, Sichuan province and Qingdao in East Shandong province.

Le was detained and the investigation is continuing.
