Police seize 319 grams of heroin and suspect in Xinjiang

A drug-trafficking suspect was seized and a parcel containing 319.6 grams of heroin confiscated by police in Kuerle in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, the Xinjiang Daily reported on Tuesday.
The suspect was taking the parcel, where he hid the drugs, from Jinan in Shandong province to Kuerle, police said. Officers seized the suspect and parcel on Dec 31.
The suspect, who comes from Xinjiang and is a drug addict, confessed. The case is being investigated.
